The Power of Holistic Healing

The holistic approach to mental health and healing recognizes that there are many layers that make us whole.

Whereas traditional mental health focuses solely on the mind and emotions, holistic healing addresses ALL layers that make up our well-being: the physical, energetic, mental/emotional, spiritual, and communal.

True, long-lasting healing requires us to attune to each of those layers. Not just focusing on the mind, but also recognizing that our physical bodies, our connection with God/Spirit, our energy centers, and even our communities are integral parts of our mental health and wellness.

In February, we are leaning into the power of holistic healing by exploring practices like yoga, breathwork, journaling, affirmations, energy and sound healing, and learning more about how these practices work to help us release trauma, cope with anxiety and depression, and overall nourish our holistic well-being. We will explore each of the layers that make us whole, diving into their qualities, and what practices help us attune to each of those layers as we work to cultivate holistic mental health and healing.

By experiencing the power of these practices for ourselves, we become an embodiment of holistic healing, and more able to serve ALL layers of our clients and communities.

I am so passionate about holistic mental health, and am looking forward to deepening the conversation around the powerful practices that help us pour into ourselves (and our clients) holistically!
